Young Widows' bruising 2006 debut, Settle Down City, introduced the Louisville, KY trio as a force to be reckoned with. Two years later they dropped Old Wounds, their sophomore stomp that united underground music fans around the globe. From there the band traded some of their trademark fury for the bleak, widescreen atmospheres of In and Out of Youth and Lightness. After getting that out of their system, Young Widows meld the strengths of their past and their tenacity for the future to forge an album perfectly befitting their merciless moniker, the accurately titled Easy Pain. Now, eleven years later, Young Widows has created their most pointed, deliberate, and (to be perfectly honest) ripping forth coming album- POWER SUCKER. Soon to be released by longtime label Temporary Residence Limited.

April 2025 brings a stacked bill as they tour performing Power Sucker alongside Cherubs + Porcelain.
